Sydney Yakiniku restaurant, Choji, needed a hero graphic that their internal marketing team could use on digital platforms. The restaurant itself was named after a beloved Anime character, so the challenge was to create a custom graphic with anime-like elements, without using the original IP.

↳ Design Solution

We combined traditional Japanese motifs and character forms with more recognisable manga shapes to make something with the same tone, whilst maintaining our own IP.
